“You need a little bit of insanity to do great things.” – Henry Rollins

winterWhat are some of your plans and objectives for the last two months of 2016? Statistics show that writing down goals increases the odds of achieving them! Big or small, it doesn’t matter what the goals are as long as we keep moving in the right direction.

  1. Survive this election, so that I can concentrate. Then strengthen my concentration for better pitching to producers and artists—especially asking “are they lyrics this artist can sing authentically and passionately?” Then overcome my fears of actually making the pitch.
Thanks for the kick in the pants, Sara!

    • Joyce, sounds like a good plan and a good question to ask yourself when writing songs for another artist to sing. No fear, my dear! As the quote says, “You can’t win the game if you’re sitting on the bench.”

  2. Complete the songs that I’ve been working on. Go on a trip to Nashville. Make a list of goals for 2017. Pitch songs.

  3. My goals for November are:
    1. Sing “Sacred Soup Kitchen” at the local soup kitchen, after recording it and posting it on my SongU web page
    2. Begin steps to post my song “Midnight Prayer” on YouTube. Even planning the steps will be moving toward the goal. I have put it off too long

  4. I like your action plan (and good deeds), Sister Kay Kay.
